I was hesitant to buy an Epson printer. My family was a year old and it was nothing but trouble. We constantly had misprints, had to do calibrations and alignments, etc. The case was never happy. However, at the time of purchase, this printer had many rave reviews. I decided to give him a chance. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed in the last ten years. It worked great for a month (long enough for me to throw the box away). I've had nothing but problems with this printer since that first month, it's not even a year old and I use it very rarely (I print maybe 5 pages every other month). It skips entire lines on the page when printing and/or only prints the top or bottom half of a sentence. Sometimes it performs the print action but doesn't apply ink to #$#&^%! Paper. It's difficult for him to connect to my WiFi and even some computers (side by side with the same OS, etc.). Also, ink cartridges are being used up like crazy. I hardly print and have had to replace them twice since I bought the printer. I would be surprised if 15 or 20 pages from one cartridge were enough for me. I replaced my old HP printer with this one because it literally fell down while moving house a few years ago. It still worked fine (I'm just tired of messing around with broken parts all the time). Too bad I spent another $20 and went with another HP. live and learn
