I ordered this sliding gate for my stupid dog. He's been very naughty lately and ran all over the house. So it came in a nice compact box. There are two sets of staples or clips in the box. You only need one set. One as a backup, or you can install it on another gate and move the gate between two locations. So thoughtful. The assembly and quality of all parts is good and solid. There were two marking rulers in the box, one for the left side and one for the right side. So you don't need a tape measure to mark, all the heavy lifting is already done. Unfortunately the baseboard in my house is wavy so I didn't use rulers but used a different method which you can see in the attached video. The gate is very easy to assemble. If you can drill a hole, you can fix this gate in just 20 minutes. What I liked about this gate is that it is very easy to install. The material quality is really good. One thing that didn't live up to my expectations was that the color didn't match my wall color, but that doesn't really matter to me. Since it is retractable, it saves a lot of space when not in use.
