This light has a rugged case with cooling fins surrounding it. There is no bracket for attachment, although, there are two holes on the side if you wanted to use a bracket mount. These are designed to be mounted with the face of the light flush against the front of the vehicle.These lights are pretty bright. Their foot candle rating at one foot is 2,686 FC. The spotlight area of the light covers about 2-3/4 square feet. In that area, the lux measurement is 3,419 LM. Outside that area is a lux value of 605 LM for the remaining 8 square feet of the almost 11 square feet used to measure lumen output. Total lumens are 1,330 LM.They claim that these are 18-watt lights. I for about 15-watts with their total output being equivalent to a 90-watt incandescent floodlight.I’ve included some pictures to give you a better idea of how bright the light is. The spot light shot is focused on the brightest circle, the 1-meter shot shows the coverage at 1 meter, and the 12-foot shot is how the light looks at 12 feet. Absolutely, the case on these lights is rugged aluminum with large cooling fins, they look good, and they put out a pretty bright light. The included wiring harness is long enough that it should reach wherever you want to put the switch. If not, it’s easily extended.
