Review on ๐ŸŽถ Enhance Your Vinyl Playback Experience with the Fluance PA10 High Fidelity Phono Preamp by Alan Brewer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to connect, no hum and sounds great.

I bought this with a Fluance RT85 turntable and am very happy with it. I originally bought a Pro-Ject Tube Box S2 tube preamp but couldn't get rid of the hum I was getting from this preamp. I tried a few options and was probably able to stop the hum, but didn't think it was worth the effort as I wasn't really impressed with the sound I was hearing from the Pro-Ject. Now this Fluance preamp was a quick single wire ground connection from the turntable to the preamp and absolutely no noise. The Fluance RT85 turntable paired with this preamp sounds amazing to me. Without using all that audiophile jargon, all I can say is that the bass sounds deep and rich and not too boomy, the highs are clear and crisp but not overly bright. I think it's safe to say that all of your components have to be of decent quality for this preamp to sound good and for every component in your system to sound good. My system consists of a Fluance RT85 turntable, a Fluance PA10 preamp, a Cambridge Audio CXA60 amplifier with Polk Audio Signature S60 floorstanding speakers. not the most expensive system but sounds great. I highly recommend this preamp.
