My six year old is slim and tall. He wears a size Small (6/7) from Cat & Jack and Revain Essentials and sizes 6-8 from H&M, so he chooses the right size for his age. He can still wear his 5ft shirts comfortably, although they are a little short on his waist and arms. We have this in Small 6/7 and it fits like a 5t. I matched this shirt with Cat & Jack and a Revain Essential T-shirt in those sizes so you can see how much smaller it is. However, the colors are amazing - it's hard to find brightly colored simple shirts for boys without a few slogans or catchphrases that are fun and colourful. It meets all requirements. These are simple shirts that speak loudly with their bold colors. They wash very well and don't shrink. We throw them in with all the rest of our laundry and they've been washed a few times (yellow is my son's favorite color so he pulls them out of the drawer every time the laundry is clean) and they still look as good as I unpacked them. . . I love the ribbed neckline and how soft and thick these shirts look. An added bonus are the high quality organic materials that will bring me back to this brand, especially now that I know I need to grow taller.
