My 4 year old nephew loved them! There were many colors to choose from and many more photos that came with the set than I expected! He drew for hours after opening the box! Markers are EASY to wash off if they get on surfaces around the house. If the markers get mixed up, simply rinse the applicator under the tap to clean it (even remove the darker color from the lighter one!). My nephew left some of the caps off for a while and they didn't/were completely drying out. It was easy to run ink through them again. Thinner strokes are possible, but it's much easier to make thick strokes with markers. I even had fun coloring with my nephew!
