I would recommend buying metal screw anchors to attach the planks to the drywall. The included plastic wall anchors are the basic drilling and driving method that usually comes with this type of product. I usually never use them. I have a habit of always keeping a pack of metal anchors on hand to use instead. The spikes are about 1/4 inch thick, so I also recommend buying felt, self-adhesive furniture pads, or cabinet door bumpers to keep the bottom of the frame flush with the top when it's against the wall. Alternatively, you can attach one of the slats to the bottom center of the frame to achieve this.
