My ladder tipped on its side while descending an incline after trimming a branch. I fell on top of him and was hit in the chest. In retrospect, I should have been slower and more careful and less clumsy. Immediately after my fall I thought I might have broken or bruised a few ribs, but luckily that didn't happen, maybe because I'm in pretty good physical shape. It wasn't serious enough to call a doctor, but after two days of rest, breathing deeply was still causing some pain, so I did some research and ordered this chest brace. When I first put it on, I immediately felt better and was back to normal in less than three weeks. I am convinced that this orthosis has contributed to my speedy recovery.
