Review on 💡 IDMIX 100W 4-Port USB C Charger with GaN Power Tech – Fast PD Charging for MacBook, USB C Laptop, Phone, and Tablet by Kelly Ponder

The seller responded to my first review and offered me two options. Refunds for purchases or replacement devices that don't reliably charge your Apple Watch with updated devices that fix the problem. I have decided on a replacement. The devices are expected to ship at the end of September, but I am willing to wait for the devices to be replaced. Great response from a seller who doesn't hesitate to fix the problem. Rating updated to five stars. I bought them specifically for three USB-C ports and one USB-A port to charge my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time. Uses three USB-C ports to connect to your MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone, and one USB-A port for the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, the USB-A port and the Apple Watch are not fully compatible. Simply place your Apple Watch on a magnetic charging pad (official Apple provided an Apple Watch charging cable), the magnetic cable connected to the USB-A port does nothing, does not charge at all. I have found that if I place the watch on the magnetic pad, then unplug the USB-A cable and plug the cable back in, the watch charges. However, once the watch is 100% charged (usually at night), the watch will stop charging. If the watch is left on the charger long enough, it will actually run out of power as the watch will no longer charge. If I unplugged the USB-A and then plugged it back in, the watch would return to a charging state. BTW this behavior has been observed on multiple units of this charger, so it wasn't an isolated problem with a single charger, the design has a limitation, I suspect it needs a certain amount of load before the connector will work. And to confirm this assumption, I've also seen that the iPhone takes much longer to indicate that it's charging than any other charger. I've used a variety of chargers, USB-C and USB-A, from different manufacturers, and none before this particular charger have ever had trouble keeping the Apple Watch constantly charged. Unfortunately, it has a nice form factor, but it has serious design flaws that limit the device's effectiveness as a universal charger. If you're considering this charger and you're looking at an Apple Watch buyer, it's not the best solution.
