I have a pair of the wool model that I've worn to the end. They are size 43s and fit wonderfully from the start. I was excited when these arrived last week, but that excitement quickly turned to disappointment as soon as I slipped them on. 'way too big. I find it kind of odd that the same size slipper from the same manufacturer would be so different just with a different sole. I sent the 43s back; The 42s should arrive in a few days. Thumbs (and toes) crossed. THIS IS AN UPDATE to my original review. I received my replacement pair (size 42). They fit well and are super comfortable. I'm wearing them as I write this.
