Review on 🔌 Ikuai 5 Port Powered USB Hub 3.0 with Fast Charging Port - USB Extender Hub with Power Adapter and On/Off Switches by Colin Arcos

REVIEW I liked it so ordered another one. The second had two switches that were flawed in the sense that you had to press very hard (almost hit) to get them to stay in the ON position; However, they were usually off. This is due to the lack of quality control during assembly and testing. I could return it but it wasn't worth my time and I can turn the two ON/OFF switches as needed. If grinding wasn't a useful solution to the problem, then yes, it would be possible. Otherwise it worked fine. As a result, I downgraded its rating by one star from five to four. INITIAL REVIEW I chose this product because I particularly wanted vertical placement of the drive in the hub and the loading feature was an added bonus. Separate port ON/OFF switches are very convenient for me; However, the port LEDs are a bit anemic, and when placed on my desk, the work light makes the LEDs almost invisible. Also, I can't see the LEDs because I positioned the hub with the charging port facing me. Even if the LEDs were acceptably bright, I still couldn't see them. If I suspect a problem with the power supply to the port, I can simply turn the hub to the side and look at the LED if necessary. It is no problem for me. I am using the hub on my XPS 8940 WIN-10 PC with no functional issues. It seems to be working as advertised; The price is very cheap hence five stars.
