There is a genius. The box says "Manual Rotary Washing Machine". They eliminate the need for wiping contact lenses, which now seems like a very bad idea to me. I insert lenses, spray BioTrue solution and rotate the lens frames for 20 seconds. Protein deposits fall from vertically stored lenses to the bottom of the container instead of remaining on the lenses as usual. There is a 1/4 inch gap between the lens itself and the ground, so I doubt protein deposits get close to them. My one month lenses lasted MUCH longer and remained comfortable all month long. These cases are designed for saline. I don't have a built in hydrogen peroxide neutralizer effervescent tablet that looks like a K'Nex wheel fitted under the lens cage that another reviewer obviously got. I used a hydrogen peroxide system; I don't know how the human eyeball can handle that. The cases are packed in separate boxes and are very well made. I've been using one for 4 months. I wash it with HIbiclens once a week and air dry it. It still works like new. Due to the design, the hinges should give way a little so that the contact lenses do not shrink. This is not a quality issue. Just be careful with the hinges. The seller packed them well and securely.
