Really easy on the back. My best purchases for a newborn. At first I used the car seat to carry the baby, but the car seat is sooooo heavy, my back hurt so much. I bought it, it was great! Lightweight, easy to carry, perfect size, because newborns grow quickly, but still afraid of too large beds, multi-functional. I used it at home, put it in her crib so she is not afraid of a big space, used to put a stroller to carry, even used it, put it on the stroller until I bought a double stroller for my daughters , Use it outside for the baby to sleep or in the car. It is better if the newborn sleeps horizontally, since its back is not yet strong. Highly recommend for anyone with a newborn.
