I bolted this bad guy onto a 70cc Pitty and my nasty sump problem was gone in an instant. I saw several reviews where people said they had to use stocks. Not! The one that comes with carbs is designed to work with it. Take your time and you may have to re-route some cables, but what's the difference. The ability to adjust the air/fuel ratio is key and carburetors do not allow for this adjustment. Once you dial it in, the difference in performance between day and night is huge. This little 70 now pulls the steering wheel in 3rd gear with no problem. Be careful not to lean the bike too much but now I ride a straight VP110 and the throttle response is spot on. It is best to put in a new plug after installation, drive a bit, pull out the plug and check the color. If it's dark, you're too rich. If you want a light gold to brown spark plug, you know you have the right air/fuel settings and you don't have to worry about your bike blowing up. Another tip: replace the spark plug with an NGK, which burns hotter so everything ignites at the same time. Hope that helps.
