First of all the pattern on these sheets is just beautiful and I was so pleased to receive them as I was looking for something visually happy to brighten up my bed high The fabric isn't great - it's very smooth and slippery and the fitted sheet is too big for my 11 inch mattress but I was willing to ignore that as I really like the look. I washed them, put them on the bed and when I woke up in the night I found my leg tangled in the thread. Low, and lo and behold, the sheet has slits running the length of the bed, and about 20 inches the threads are completely torn, which is a safety hazard. So go back! I really, really wanted to love these sheets because the pattern makes me so happy, but the fabric isn't very good. I don't know if the run was already there or happened during the wash - either way it doesn't bode well for the sheets' durability.
