Review on Firgelli Automations FA 400 L 12 12 Linear Actuator by Brian Kingsford

I have two of these units and will be ordering a third today. Twice in the 10 years / 51 km that I have driven this truck the devices I had to use as the hood lifter (light enough that I could open them by hand) completely failed. The first time the riser itself simply wore out and stopped working (if the 30-pound equivalent weight was lifted about 100 times on a 400-pound object), this time there was an apparent electrical problem with the device. The only reason I'm ordering another one is because the truck is designed for it and I don't want to change everything. If possible, I would look for another product!
