Much more useful than flimsy "only up to 15 pounds" tote bags with ruffles. I bought this on purpose for the larger weight capacity so I can keep my baby in my room longer. He is also very sturdy/enduring which was important to me as we have 2 large dogs and I was concerned they would trip over one of the larger and frilled dogs and knock him over. I don't use it for travel because we don't travel but it's great for everyday use and it was very small when folded it arrived with a nice carry case. The sleeping surface is much more spacious than I imagined which is great for a growing child. The advice to use spare pillowcases as sheets works really well - they fit well and fit well. My 2 month old sleeps very well in it and I am very happy with my purchase.
