Just step away from the wall. no real support system

I installed the curtain rod today. It's flimsy and the pieces just fall apart and fall off, so you'll need someone to hold it all together (or duct tape). There is only one support to secure the entire rack in place and that is the bottom bar from the ceiling which was too long. to use, so I had to trim it down to a much shorter length. Once the curtain was hung on a pole. only the light weight of the curtain was enough to tilt the entire pole to the left or right, since the pole is in the middle. from the wall as the two flanges are the only supports and the bars just sit in them. No screws or fasteners to hold the pole in the flanges so everything just falls off the wall and is absolutely USELESS! I take some stainless steel screws and drill holes at an angle through the studs directly into the walls. in an attempt to prevent the entire rod assembly from falling off the wall at the slightest touch of the curtains. It is poorly designed and manufactured with the necessary improvements for mounting to walls and ceilings. I also suggest making it out of thicker metal.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Something is wrong
