they need a bit of fiddling to get them right. They are definitely worth their money. They look like they protect my levers a lot better than the stock levers and I think they look cooler. My KLR already had the correct size threads on the ends of the rods, so they were left unmodified. Only criticism: the fasteners are bare metal and don't look very good. For this price it doesn't really matter. UPDATE: Ordered a second set after the bent one. The new set I received is NOT the same as the old one. The new ones are smaller and it took a lot of effort to get them working. This is disappointing because when I first ordered they were great. Maybe I'll order something else next time.
