. Unfortunately, the piece of plastic at the base of the tripod broke off as soon as I unpacked it. The tripod can no longer be closed and the three legs cannot be adjusted in any way. It still seems to hold the iPad in place well, I just have to be careful and it annoys me that it can't be folded to put it away. I think for the price you should expect cheap materials but they shouldn't break. I would return it but it just arrived and I have meetings every day and can't do without it for the next few weeks so I'm leaving it for now as long as it continues to hold the iPad for my large scale meetings.
