This is a pretty strong two piece extension but there weren't any bolts included so I had to go out and buy some which was annoying but what is there too - a pity that I did not notice that there were no screws in it. When I used to extend a 2-way socket in this way, I found that this only worked with conventional sockets. I had two newer outlets with USB charging ports, but they were too bulky to fit next to each other. Incidentally, the USB ports on the new outlets weren't working properly even before I discovered they didn't fit the extension cord I installed, so I returned them for traditional outlets while I bought the longer screws I needed. everything ended well.
