Worked well in the renovated drywall gap

We have moved with our landfill and the new drywall is a little further in front of it, where the black-haired electricians have inserted the new 2-way 240V socket socket into the box and fills the gap. Note that this extension did not come with screws but luckily I had some of the 1 speed Arlington extensions that I bought locally. Good product!

Pros
  • Years of probation
Cons
  • Disappeared

Easy installation.

They are better than anything I could find locally because: a.) They cut easily. in sockets. Otherwise, the panel screw will hit the extension box and push the panel out, preventing it from being properly attached to the wall. I will order them again when needed. They go perfectly with the original metal boxes I have at home.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

An excellent solution for covering the apron with tiles!

We recently fitted a kitchen apron. We were complete beginners, but it turned out wonderfully. As newbies, we didn't think at first that all our sockets would be recessed due to the thickness of the tiles. We needed a way to extend the outlets so that they would sit flush with the tiles when the pads were reinstalled. This 2 post extension was the answer. These extension cords are very hard to find in the big stores near me. 1 speed extensions are readily available while 2 speed extensions are…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

It's fine as long as you don't mind providing your own bolts

This is a pretty strong two piece extension but there weren't any bolts included so I had to go out and buy some which was annoying but what is there too - a pity that I did not notice that there were no screws in it. When I used to extend a 2-way socket in this way, I found that this only worked with conventional sockets. I had two newer outlets with USB charging ports, but they were too bulky to fit next to each other. Incidentally, the USB ports on the new outlets weren't working properly…

Extension for electrical box

It is not uncommon for a bookshelf or shelving unit to be placed in front of electrical outlets. These extensions provide access to outlets without having to rip open the wall to move the outlet box. In my case, I placed a large bookshelf in front of several outlets and blocked them. I cut holes in the backs of the bookshelves to match the outlets. Once the bookshelves are installed, these box extensions are inserted and secured with the long mounting screws included in the extension kit. The…

Works as intended, but there are a few things to note.

I used one of these in a utility room which was a 4 inch square box with a flat ring screwed onto it with holes for the sockets to screw in. this extension. I tested a standard 2 speed box that already has screws on the box and it worked great. I have another square box that I need to add an extension to and I'm going to try another type of box that allows me to screw the extension directly onto the box using the screw holes in the corners of the box. This extension plugs into an existing…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Good easy solution to a common problem of electrical boxes installed under tile or wood paneling (and partly wall panel) and therefore not flush with the surface. Wood panels are combustible, so leaving them open is dangerous; Tile is non-flammable, but often makes an uneven or unreliable surface for mounting outlets or switch terminals. This expansion box solves this problem quite simply. It simply slides into the control box and provides up to 1.5 inches of additional depth. It has large…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
