I am using this with a Dell Latitude 5501 which is NOT on the supported computers list. The 5501 has a vent next to the USB-C port, meaning heat is pumped to this device. I'm very happy with the design and functionality of the device, but heat builds up and when I use it to connect two external monitors to my laptop, it often loses signal to the monitors after everything has been running for a while. and the adapter feels very warm. This is a good product but I would look at the list of compatible machines when purchasing.
