Review on Eberlestock Terminator Pack Dry Earth by Sherri Rivera

All positive reviews online are for the original Terminator F4 backpack model which is no longer available. The manufacturer sells a modified version of the F4 under the same model name. In addition, the original product images no longer correspond to reality. The new model has serious shortcomings. Most tragically, the zipper and flap on the top of the detachable fanny pack has been replaced with a "rubberized" zipper without a flap. However, this rubberized zipper does not close completely, even with the sliders as close as possible, there is still a hole for water to enter. Which makes the point of a waterproof zipper meaningless. Also, the zipper is extremely difficult to open/close and cannot be operated with one hand. Some other negative changes: - Removed zip dividers in main compartment, replaced with drawstring dividers - Reorganized pockets in main compartment, useful pockets removed under original name. They responded that the new model was "improved" and that they had removed the rain cover to "reduce weight". They said they didn't update the photos and videos because they were preparing a new website. Very bad experience with customer service. Eberlestock disappointed me.
