I am new to the Vacmaster brand but I am happy to report that this is a very high quality industrial vacuum system. Everything you need in a vacuum cleaner kit is included in this special wall mounted model. I installed in my garage which makes car and floor cleaning very easy and convenient. I estimate that with both hoses connected you get 20 feet of light coverage in all directions. The vacuum works well and is a huge improvement over my old 14 gallon Rigid, which I realized was too big for my needs. 5 gallons seems almost perfect. Setup is easy and the device appears to be well designed. Everything from the clever power cord on the back to the clamps that attach the motor to the bucket. The only thing specifically missing from the instructions is what to do with the two hoses. connect them? What's the first? The pictures on the box itself show both hoses connected, so this is clearly a supported way of working. I've tried both ways and I think the best way is with a standard hose attached directly to the base of the vacuum and a flexible hose attached to the end closest to you. With active suction, the flexible hose contracts slightly, this constriction is increased when it is connected directly to the base. Honestly I would say that it would be better with two standard hoses. The only other thing I think would greatly improve this product is some sort of clear viewing window in the base bucket so you can gauge how full it is. Since it's wall mounted, it's unlikely you'll be able to remove it and inspect it unless absolutely necessary. Another thing to note is that the remote wand is battery operated and communicates wirelessly with the base, which is activated by setting the base's power switch to the dedicated wireless position. The battery comes with the wand, unfortunately this is a non-standard model that you need to look for specifically. Let's see how well this holds up over time. If wall mounting, make sure it's mounted high enough so you don't have to duck around the hose hole if it gets in your way. What I really like about the Vacmaster: - Strong suction power - Wide range of nozzles stored right on the base - Sound diffuser included - Remote controlled on/off button - Very large and high quality filter included (including wet cleaning foam) - The wall mounting system works great and stores everything including extensions Things that could be improved: - A viewing window on the bucket to measure fill would be nice (since it is wall mounted) - Two connected hoses work well but the flexible hose compresses a lot during use . 2 standard hoses would be enough. There is also no 'good' way to wrap and store tubing. I just wrap them around my body and use the top handle as a stop. Not pretty, but effective. The electric grip uses a non-standard 23A 12V battery, which must be purchased separately. Pick up the car or the mess.
