Horse ballast is a safe bet!

Before choosing this ballast for my project I checked Fulham.com. One thing quickly becomes clear: the company owner must love horses! Almost all of their products have a horse name; In addition to this WorkHorse ballast, Fulham makes LongHorse, SineHorse and RaceHorse ballasts. There are IceHorse ballasts (for cold areas), SunHorse ballasts (solarium), FireHorse ballasts (emergency lighting) and HighHorse ballasts (high intensity/induction lighting). ). Fulham have a range of small ballasts called Pony and the smallest ballasts are called Sugarcubes! However, I finally groaned when I got to their LED lighting products and saw that they were called ThoroLED. (The site also has plenty of technical information, specifications and wiring information for each product.) Not only does this Fulham ballast offer excellent value for money, it is also a versatile option for a wide range of lamp configurations. Although designed primarily for fluorescent lighting, I used the ballast to run an 18 watt low pressure sodium lamp. Philips 234047 - SOX-E18 Low Pressure Sodium Lamp Commercial ballasts for these lamps can cost hundreds of dollars so I was very pleased to find that the Fulham ballast works great (as you can see in the photo I posted). Pressure The sodium lamp is not for everyone, but it is extremely effective; it is even more effective than fluorescent. Fulham's low cost ballasts make it easy to experiment with LPS and create super efficient lighting projects or to replace old ballasts in existing fixtures. Combined with their adorable horse product names, these ballasts are a winner!
