I bought this clock to replace an old iHome dual alarm clock that was starting to go haywire (alarm not working, dimmer not working etc.). I consider myself a "alarm clock snob" and have never found one that fits all of my wants and needs. Oh. This iHome comes very close! I bought a 30-pin lightning USB adapter to use with my old iPod nano, which I keep connected to my watch so I can wake up to my favorite music. The alternative was to buy a new iPad! But a $5 adapter versus a $500 iPad? I've already spent over $80 on /wecker/ and can't justify the cost (yet). The double alarm is great. I haven't tested the watch at all stages yet, but so far very satisfied. My only dislike at the moment is the dimmer. Yes, completely dark, with 5 brightness levels. But in the middle of the night when you want to know what time it is and you're pressing the button to see if the display turns on at maximum brightness (oops) then you have to gradually lower the brightness. It would be great if it gradually got brighter with every button press, dimmer inversion or other electronic engineering solution. Only time will tell how my relationship with this watch develops (pun intended).
