The quality of the shoes is excellent, they are fleshy, durable and well made. White is fine, but jeans or other colored pants will soil your shoes. The outsole has a silicone gel shell in the heel area, which acts as an additional shock absorber and also keeps the foot on the sole. The width at the top and sides is one of the best, and there's plenty of room if you ever need to widen a bit. The tongue can be quite stiff and sometimes sting your ankles, but loosen the laces a bit. Now my main issue is with the heel itself. These shoes have heels and I'm talking about HEELS, like tap dance heels. If your foot is as flat as mine, you probably have the same problem I do with pedaling your whole foot at once, rather than heel-to-toe or toe-to-heel. The heel gets in the way and causes an unnatural gait mixed with weird bouncing as the heel keeps my duck feet from stomping on the ground. Because my feet and legs are in an uncomfortable position, at the end of the day my back, shins, balls of feet and calves suffer. If you have trouble walking, back problems or flat feet, these shoes are not for you.
