So I've waited over a month to write this review. Adding color to my bullet journal/planner. - The mold works pretty well, although sometimes it gets stuck when opening the mixing bowl. - It's a versatile format as you can either a) move the bowl halves around as you wish or b) pull out the metal 'Medieval Instrument of Torture' pan holder, use double sided tape and mix and match brands for a custom palette. Most colors are fully transparent rather than chalky, which is a massive improvement over something like Arteza. or Sakura Koi.- I liked the four colors so much that I added them to my "favorite" palette along with colors from Daniel Smith, Isaro, and White Nights.- The price couldn't be better. Odor. I would compare it to "the smell of a campfire" but not as pleasant. Maybe"burnt smore". I hope it resolves. Paints don't wet out as well as my favorite art quality brands like Daniel Smith and White Nights. Especially with fluorescent colors you really have to work on the color matching. This can be remedied by spraying all the colors with water at the start of the session, but sometimes I'll open a jar for just one or two colors and find it annoying. In general, after drying, the colors appear more pastel than the colors of my artists. It's not necessarily a bad thing to recognize your own patterns and plan accordingly. I really like some of these lighter shades! TBD - I haven't had them long enough to do a lightfastness test.
