A decent way to remove the clips!

There is only one spot on my bottom holder that lifts up to remove. This is the back of my left molar. My nails are natural and too flexible to do the job. I put both hands in my mouth, hooked both thumbnails on the inner and outer edges of that far back molar and carefully lifted it up. Once it was released, I carefully removed the retainer from my teeth using my thumb and forefinger, also pulling out a salivary tract. So rude and embarrassing! Using the orthopedic wrench, I simply hook it to the rearmost edge of the latch, gently lift to loosen, and then quickly and gently lift in two more places along the inside edge towards the front of my strap. Mouth. Once there, I pull the inside edge back behind my front teeth and the retainer pops out. No more putting both hands in your mouth, chipping nail polish or drooling. I'm not afraid of breaking the retainer and I don't feel uncomfortable! The only complaint is that it's too long to fit in my mount. I have to hold it at an angle to close the lid. I was just a tad smaller with it, so it fits easily without fuss. I think if one could find the right technique, this tool could help to remove anyone's retainer.
