They are marketed as stable shoes and they most certainly are. The fit is as expected, although there could have been a little more room in the toe area. The insoles that come with the shoe offer very little arch support. I have a high arch so I replaced them with a pair of XStance inserts and it made a huge difference in walking performance. I run four to six miles a day and I find this shoe to be just the right fit for me. I've had them for about nine days now, so I can't say yet if I'll buy them again.
