Really impressive frames! I love the frame shadow effect it can create and the variety of ways this frame can be used: use a 5x7 image with the background that comes with the frame, use an 8x10 image with no background, place the image on top of the spacers. Create a shadow effect or place the image directly on the glass. I use them for 8x10 photos and while I can't use mattes (I would because mattes would help create more depth for the shadow box effect), the fact that you can create space between the image and the glass adds added depth. It's also a great way to frame a smaller 8x10 image, as matting (which requires a larger frame) isn't required to make a presentation look sophisticated. To be honest I can't help but notice the quality of these Frametory frames. The wooden frame is quite durable and has a creamy smooth finish. The real glass window feels heavy and thick and doesn't appear to leave fingerprints at all. Even the rest of the frame (the brace that creates the shadow box effect and the back of the frame) is surprisingly well made too: the brace is made of wood (or a thick material close to it) and the material of the die Back of frame appears to be much thicker than the standard cardboard you would expect from ordinary picture frames. Another plus: the frames can be hung on the wall or placed on the table. The quality of the frames is so nice that they even enhance the pictures they contain! If I need more frames, I definitely check out Frametory first.
