I bought this lamp because I had a small light problem in my room. Whenever I made a video call with my friends, my face was very dark because I didn't have enough light in the right place. I put this little lamp on the table, turned it up to max power and voila! No more dark faces on my webcam! I wasn't looking for professional lighting and this little light is perfect. It feels very cozy and I can actually turn off my floor lamp while it's on and I still have plenty of light. This is a very warm light. Brighter than it looks but it will never hurt your eyes. I put the second unit in my guest room, where there was only a floor lamp before. Let me tell you, is this light alone in the room? Very romantic lighting! It makes you want to snuggle up or at least curl up with a good book or movie. I love these lamps. They look great and took ten seconds to put together. 100% worth your money.
