This bowl comes with a bowl lid that can be used separately for other items making it very versatile. It works in both the oven and microwave, which is ideal for combi ovens. I like white because it goes well with any other color of utensils. The first meal I cooked in it was hash browns, and I found the potatoes roasted much more evenly than on a standard steel skillet. It was also nice to be able to store it in the same container when serving, which reduced the amount of cleanup.
