The bag holds the gear I need for the collage. It's made of heavy canvas and the shoulder straps are wide enough to keep you comfortable. A padded shoulder strap prevents digging into the shoulder when the bag is loaded. All seams and zippers are secure and slide well. There are no loose threads or skipped seams. Best of all, it fits in my laptop without cluttering my school books. There was a place for my wallet and a few other small items. I put my tablet in the back zippered compartment on the outside of the bag. The front compartment offers space for pens and slots for ID cards or business cards. I have a refillable bottle of Contigo. The pockets at each end of the bag fit in even though it's slightly larger than a regular water bottle. It was important to me that the buckles on the bag close securely and close it. The stitching on the straps around the buckles are secure. The buckles themselves are made of durable plastic that is unlikely to break. They snap securely into place and hold when you pull. This bag is just what I need for college. It's strong, durable, and (thankfully) fits my gear without being overstuffed. I love it.
