The Sirius receiver doesn't want you to know about

I bought a Starmate 8 a few months ago and I'm pleasantly surprised. It works well and does what it's supposed to. For background purposes I started with the Starmate 2 and then had terrible experiences with several other Starmate receivers. My take on Sirius is that I love their product but hate their hardware. This receiver is the best since my first Starmate 2. The Starmate 8 has 30 minutes playback (up from 58 minutes to 2) and 10 preset stations (up from 30 to 2). Downgrades, of course, but I'm just happy to have a solid receiver that works every day. It's been a long time since I could say that. This receiver is ideal for listening at work/home and in the car. Sirius has clearly turned almost all of its attention to factory-installed car kits, neglecting portable receivers in recent years. Sirius has made it easy to listen to more than one location at minimal cost (i.e. one recipient per account). This receiver only manages to save your account for one radio. The reason for my name is that you really need to look up this receiver on the Sirius website. It's poorly advertised and I didn't know it existed until I typed "Starmate" into the Revain search box and the number "8" came up. Not sure why this is such a big secret - this receiver is worth the hype. If I didn't love the Sirius product as much as I do, I probably would have given up the service because I couldn't find a decent recipient. Thanks to Starmate 8, I can finally use the service again without having to worry about repairing broken receivers.
