A 20-ounce bottle of soda is also too big for him. Half of our bottles are too tall to fit in. And the inside seems very thin and easy to tear, like a lining. I could put a U-lock in there but nothing else would fit and I have a feeling it will ruin the bag on the first trip. Since we bought it to carry both our water bottle and U lock, it doesn't fit the bill.
