I would be lying if I said I have many (if any, lol) color filters, brands, pros and cons, etc. I'm not sure what exactly makes a color filter a 4 star product. but.- The paper is light. It annoyed me initially to keep it on my HPLV tank. The screens have valves on the end, but for my smaller gun they sat well above anything they could attach to. But I would really have to hold the screen with both hands and pour in the paint until the weight of the paint would hold the screens in place. When I used my 10th or 12th filter I thought what's the difference? I still have about 80.- The grid in the filters is excellent. My sprayer did not clog when using these products. That's the point, isn't it? I even used them to sift latex paint once. It was a slow strain, but hey, it worked. I don't plan on ever spraying latex with this thing again, but if I have to, these filters are good. I found them very handy for straining old polyacrylic jars. Pulls out all the balls directly. . that's what they're supposed to do, right? lol.- None of them fell apart with them. I don't know what else you would expect from a paper cone paint strainer, but I can't think of anything else I want from it. When I want to start a project that needs painting or finishing, it's really nice to have on hand.
