I have both a large and small dog and was concerned that the collar would not hold the smaller receiver. I am very pleased to report that this collar is suitable for both large and smaller recipients. I need collars because the big collar is very old. Also, I didn't leave enough room in the smaller collar and it no longer fit her. I wanted other small dog owners to know this collar would work for them. As for the collar, the material and closure seem very strong and I am very happy with this product!
