To feed this to a dog, feeding recommendations suggest 1-1.5 cans per 10 pounds of body weight and also suggest varying the flavor with other flavors and granules. As this would require me to feed my dog 6 cans per day my original plan was to mix this with granules/use as a supplement to keep my dog (who is very picky) fascinated. It usually depends on the day whether or not he likes wet food (pie will never do, but he will often try stew). When I poured it into his bowl (no chunks at first to see what he thinks) I was impressed with how it looked. It really felt like shredded chicken with carrots and some broth! I couldn't see the beef so I just assumed there wasn't much beef in it. Unfortunately my pup didn't think he was as good looking as me and ended up not touching him. I mixed it into the feed and tried again later but still no luck. Even when he tried to hand feed him, he didn't try. I wanted him to love this food, but (unfortunately) it turned out the other way around. Overall this seems like a good meal for a small dog who isn't that picky, but not for large dogs or picky eaters.
