Soft and comfortable material. I wear shorts to unload the hay and also wear only pants. I will say that hay marks are visible on the legs, but for the most part it's so nice to have a jumpsuit that doesn't have a crotch halfway down the knees. I'm 5ft 5135 and ordered medium
