Didn't work for me

I have installed a surround sound system and used wifi for my subwoofer for many years and it has worked great. The recent rearrangement of things has meant it's almost impossible for me to run any more cables for my surround back speakers. My current wireless setup for my subwoofer was a single channel system, so I needed a new one that could also work with my surround speakers. This device looked perfect. I was attracted by the fact that 34 Wi-Fi channels are available to avoid interference and a 100 foot line of sight. My setup was supposed to be 25ft with line of sight, should work great! In the end it was a nightmare. Assembly was very easy, the blocks look great and are a good size. The displays are clear enough to see what's going on, but I just couldn't pick a WiFi channel that didn't have interference. The instructions say to press the M button on both devices at the same time (25ft in my case) to switch channels and avoid interference. They then wait about 20 seconds for the devices to reconnect and then I used the speaker configuration/white noise setup on my receiver to listen for the signal strength. After my family members did this on three separate occasions, which took about a minute for each attempt, we could never find a "channel" that didn't pop/burst/fade/fall out within a few seconds. Also, the device gives no indication of which "channel" you are using. So does this act of pressing the M button on both devices dynamically select a channel that can work, or do you cycle through the supposed 34 channels? We pushed the buttons over 40 times (again, simultaneously by two people 25 feet apart) and never found a working channel, not even for a minute. I emailed OSD via the support address on their website to ask how this channel switch actually works and to avoid any interference. A week later no response. Very disappointing. I don't feel my house is very difficult for Wi-Fi interference. We have a 2.4 GHz WiFi hotspot and are located in a detached family home. We have some Wi-Fi overlap from our two closest neighbors, but that's nothing compared to what you might see in a townhouse or condo/apartment. I am returning it and cannot recommend it at all.
