So I've been reading reviews of people using this oil pan bolt as a cure for blown oil pan and/or plugs. I tried this on a 2003 Honda Pilot. It's just a cheap car that I bought for cheap and I don't need it to be perfect. I've driven it about 100 miles and it seems to have made sure my plug isn't sticking and the oil drip is the culprit. I would recommend using a deep socket and ratchet for installation, but make sure you have it straight. Using a wrench I couldn't slide it through the damaged section of threads in the sump and into the remaining good threads.
