Review on 📸 SIMREX X300C 8816 Mini Drone With Camera - WiFi HD FPV Foldable RC Quadcopter Rtf 4CH 2 by Anthony Hobby

I have only flown two different drones in the past and this is my first purchase. This is a cute little drone that works great indoors and teaches you the basics of flying. What I don't like is the controller and the stability when hovering. The controller pads (not sticks, Sony PSP analog pads I think) are very stiff, especially the left one that controls pitch and rotation. I hope they loosen up as I use the controller more. The automatic gyro function also seems to work only a little. Every time I fly, I use this feature when the drone is on a flat, level surface, but I still need to fine-tune it with the directional buttons to stabilize the hover mode. Even then, I feel like I can't help but get as close to a stable hover as I want. All in all a good start, but if you already own other drones or are a decent pilot I would steer clear of this model and settle for something with a more robust controller and efficient features. Update 2019.02.13 Seller offered to send new drone and controller to upgrade to 4 stars for service, will upgrade to 5 if new drone and controller are great.
