Review on Benriner BN5WH Turning Japanese Stainless by Shawn Reiff

This is a durable kitchen accessory - the handle is metal unlike many others I've seen and seen in demos. The crank end legs extend to rest against the square edge of a table or counter, making it easy to apply just the right amount of pressure with one hand while pivoting with the other. The resulting core is ideal for soup, broth or salad. Not a waste either as some have commented. Blades are easy to install and remove, very sharp. I use it quite a bit and have a lot of fun creating more interesting and textured foods. My only wish is to have a blade for a bigger cut.
