We bought our son a New 3DS XL for Christmas and he immediately lost the pen. I've looked around at Revain and found a lot of product confusion and people seem to buy the wrong pen for their machines and then complain in reviews quite often. There are 2 different versions of the 3DS XL and the names will confuse many: Nintendo 3DS XL New Nintendo 3DS XL These are great for the newer 'New 3DS XL'. This version has a small additional joystick on the right. Check out the pictures in the links and if you have "New 3DS XL" this is what you are looking for. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because the molding still had a pin that could be removed. during the production process.
