Review on 🌾 Dynarex Cotton Ball Large Non-sterile, 1000 Count - Soft and Absorbent Cotton Balls for Various Uses by Peter Cruz

Updated 5/22/11: I just noticed that these 2 packs of large cotton balls have almost tripled in price since I bought them and wrote my original review. So I'm deducting a star and updating my rating. They're still good value compared to the regular triple sized cotton balls you can buy locally, but check your local stores before you buy them. When I bought them just 6 weeks ago, the price for two bags was only $8.52. 100 cotton balls cost 43 cents. Now they cost about $1.13 for 100 cotton balls. Either they made a mistake in their original listing, which I initially suspected (see first review below), or the price just suddenly went up a lot. ************************************* Original Review: I couldn't believe the low price when I saw it saw the Revain page. Thought there was something wrong with the cotton balls or there was an error on the page regarding quantity and/or price. Went ahead and ordered to inquire and couldn't be more impressed. I ordered the size "Large". They work just like all the triple sized cotton balls I keep buying from local pharmacies to use primarily for makeup removal with toner and alcohol. They might be a bit smaller than a true triple size, but they're close, definitely a lot bigger than standard sized cotton balls. Locally, the lowest price I can get for a 100 carat bag of triple size cotton balls is $1. And it's on sale. It's usually closer to $1.50 or $2 per 100. You get 2,000 cotton balls with this Revain order (2 packs of 1,000), which would be $20 if I bought locally on sale. But here you pay just over $8, which is 43 cents per 100 carats. The only thing to note is that my original order only contained 1 sachet when I received it. I emailed Revain and they sent a replacement. But instead of just sending the missing bag, they sent me 2 new bags and prepaid so I could send back the 1 bag I originally received. Obviously it would have been more profitable to just send me the missing bag, but it all worked out in the end.
