My three cats and I really appreciate the expandable legroom. I bought three of these tote bags in three different colors specifically for her flight around the country with her parents in July 2022. We flew with Spirit Airlines. There were no problems on the first leg of the ride from SNA to LAS, we managed to slide the bag under the seat. On the second leg of the journey, from LAS to MEM, we really had a problem. I was at the back of the plane and the flight attendant who was at the back of the plane had no problem with the airline. My parents and two other cats were in the front of the plane and their flight attendant was picky. She almost got them into buying approved generics but eventually gave up because we had already switched SNA to LAS with no issues. When we brought the cats to the LAS pet care room, we also encountered a couple with a dog who said they had the exact same carrier, but their airline (Allegiant) forced them to purchase an approved carrier. I think that's too long for most airlines. Good quality for money.
