Review on 🔧 Suunto Octane Bands: Upgraded Replacement Strap for Enhanced Performance by Lawrence Feldman

Purchased to replace the original Ambit 2 harness which is 1.5 years old. I was expecting a lot more from Suunto in terms of the original band, so I decided to get an after sale replacement. Contrary to some other reviewers, I found this strap to fit better than the original as it's thinner and lighter, which hopefully doesn't make it any less bombastic. What I really like is that it has two strap holders. I also like that this purchase came with a screwdriver that worked well. Two quick tips. 1. This purchase does not include new screws. I just reused my old ones. For some reason I thought I would buy new screws. 2. There are two hex shaped metal nuts holding the screws on the bottom strap that wraps around the GPS bar. Both slipped out when I unscrewed the screws. Just be careful not to lose her. Happy adventures.
