These are really good boots for dogs. I bought the first pair due to my dog's weight and they were too big. If you follow the instructions for measuring and tracking your dog's paws, they will really work. They helped me understand that my dog needed 2 different sizes, which explains why all the socks I've bought from other sellers have been both the right fit and too small. My dog could walk in it with a little practice. Unfortunately, my dog has lost a lot of muscle mass and tends to drag his toes. In boots he often stumbled and fell. I'm really sorry I didn't find them sooner to keep the ulcers on his paws from getting so bad and to give him more time to learn to walk in his boots. Some of the socks I bought helped, but they didn't keep out the water and dirt like these boots do when walking the dogs. I will buy a pair for my other dog and teach her to use them as she is a few years younger. Hopefully this will save her from having to wear them as she gets older.
